Summary on the Novel Girl in Translation
In the review for novel The girl in Translation by Jean Kwok , Jennifer Taylor praises Kimberly the main “heroine” as said by Jennifer who’s character makes the book magnificent. First of all, Jennifer talks about how Kimberley only at the age of eleven cooperates with the hard life she has in America. Later on, Jennifer also mentions the hardships Kimberley and her mother has to face due to their close relatives that brought them to America. This all happens due to a jealousy Factor that Kimberley aunts has with Kimberley. Moreover, Jennifer talks about Kimberley’s life in school because Kimberley is very smart although she know little English. Finally, Jennifer mentions how Kimberley works at the factory after school.
