Faraj's presentation on the British Hip Hop scene was great! His presentation gave a through overview of the genre and its key players. It's too bad he didn't have music or pictures to share. Thursday, Benjamin is presenting. Please post your comments to Faraj and Faraj please share your self-reflection with us.
I am still here at work, working on the progress reports.

Faraj, I think you did pretty awesome job. You knew what you were talking about, and extremly informative to the subject covered, and even the people in the UK. I loved how you started the presentation out by explaining the roots of America spread even to other countries. It made me visualize what you talked about, so I thought that was pretty cool. Some things that I wanted to know more about were some of the sounds of rap (I remember you explained it sounded a lot like techno, in the states), where the UK actually is on the globe, and some of the other sounds of hip hop. Good job.
Yes! I agree with Kimberly! I thought it was really impressive how you talked about your presentaion, it seemed like you knew it pretty well. You said 25 percent of your research was watching videos? I think thats great, because visual learning can be one of the most..impacting ways to learn. I hope that made sense.

I think Faraj did a very good job whether he was in a group or by himself. I was supposed to be in his group but everyone stopped coming to class for some reason, so I guess I'm on my own. But as for Faraj, he knew exactly what he was talking about. It seemed like he's been studying hip hop in the UK for years now. He didn't have a power point, music, or a film, but he still kept the presentation interesting. Great work

Faraj I think you did a wonderful job. I enjoyed how you did pretty well with how you told the story of hip hop in Britain and think that you had wonderful knowledge on the hip hop culture out there. Good job!

Faraj GREAT JOB! I think you represented the phrase “Less is more,” to the fullest. Your presenting was very informative, and it showed that you were really into Hip Hop in the UK. I enjoyed the “freestyle” of your presentation; I don’t know was it planned or not, but the flow was very inviting. I most so, liked the background of the parents.
As mention, I thought your presentation would have been on another level if you had visuals; PowerPoint, music, etc. Great Job!
P.S. I think it was very wise to present by you self!

I don't want to make it sound repetitive, but you really did a good job. =] It would've been hard for me to just stand up there by myself and talk but you executed it perfectly. And you definitely knew your facts too. Good job and keep it up.

I agree with all the posts that Faraj did a good job. He kept eye contact, was confident and touched on various topics on Hip Hop in the UK that were very interesting a most people did not know about. Overall he seemed to really know what he was presenting and show his passion for the topic. In order to keep the audience involved you need to be able to keep talking without reading off a paper or notes and he mastered that. It would have be prefect if a visual was added. Well done.

Cyber Assignment: "Presentations"
Faraj did an excellent job with his presentation. I know it must of took a lot of courage to get up there by yourself and I commend him for doing just that. The presentation was very insightful because of all the knowledge he had about his topic. I didn't know a whole lot about hip-hop in Britain so it was nice to learn something about it. Eventhough he didn't have any visuals or music I thought he did a good job. I think he made up for not having any music when he talked about the lyrics of one of the songs he researched and that was great.
Faraj, I think you did good. The thing I like the most was that you new the history very well and when someone ask you a qusitoion you new the answer. When you talk about the UK you made it very easy to understand and get a clear pictue about hip hop in the UK. GOOD JOB
