Responses

No one posted a response to the presentations last week. Only one person posted a response to Ladies First, no one posted a response to Me, Myself and I. We are going to start going to A-205 on Thursdays so you can post your work. We will meet there Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 9 AM. Students will make presentations there as well.

Self-Reflection my
Presentation on Women in Hip-hop
My presentation on “woman in Hip-hop” want by pretty good, the visuals from my poster helped me explained and prove better my point. It was entertaining to figure out how I was going to turn an essay into a presentation. First, I though it was important that I focus on illustrating my thesis, I also had to make sure that whatever was on my poster were images that I could relate to my essay. Some of the images in my poster were examples of the different women that I tough were expressing their sexuality in a responsible way, while the others were pictures of women that from my point of view do not take seriously the way they portray their image.

Reflection on Presentation

I really enjoyed students presentations on Women in Hip Hop. I liked all of the presentations because they all were unique and they al had something diffrent. I really liked Erica's presentation because she was creative and very unique. She explained how in Hip Hop artist tend to give something a diffrent meaning. Erica used the lolipop as an example. I also liked Itzel's presentation on Hip Hop because of the way that she presented. She made two diffrent posters with pictures of diffrent female hip hop artist. She compared pictures of how some female artist expose themselves the public. Overall I think that they all put in alot of effort to make their presentation as nice as they were.
